I would love to see a book full of these [Jochen Gerz's Foto/Text pieces]. Unfortunately, as most of my dream books, this one will never happen.Fortunately I was dead wrong, as you may see above.
The fact is that I plainly forgot that Jochen Gers is a contemporary artist, not a comics artist. In comics the best writers and artists are not recognized as such, consequently their books are ignored and no publisher dares to reprint their work. This is as if Superhero films were widely available while Roberto Rossellini's films or Kenji Mizoguchi's films or Ingmar Bergman's films could be found nowhere.
Anyway, there it is, one of my dream books, plain and simple!
